Olivia Amitay is a recent graduate of Boston University from Silver Spring, Maryland with a B.S. in Public Relations and a minor in Environmental Analysis & Policy. Olivia has explored climate communications through a variety of lenses. At the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators, she developed an understanding of state climate policy and how effective, fact-based communications can help legislators protect the environment. She also learned lessons about the corporate side of positive environmental change as an Intern at the Clean Energy Buyers Association. As a Communications Intern at Emerson Collective, a social change philanthropy, Olivia explored how climate change intersects with issues like education, immigration, racial justice, and more. Previously, Olivia also served as a Staff and Communications Editor for The Emerald Review, BU's student-run earth & environment magazine.
